The locking mechanism is jammed, absolute nonsense.

Bought 2 of these locks and both have the same problem. The mechanism binds and does not close properly. I've repaired them several times in the year I've owned them and they still break. Absolute rubbish. I need reliable side gate locks that will secure my yard (and pool) and I don't trust this product. If it was one I would have thought I had a lemon but both locks work the same independently. Do not buy.
