Review on Rugged Ridge 17235.59 Switch Pod Kit for Jeep Wrangler JK RHD: 4 Black Switches on A-Pillar (2011-2018) by Joseph Katipally

As others have noted, the switch slots are held in place by very thick plastic and cannot easily be cut out with a rotary knife. My solution was to use a very small drill bit and drill a few holes around the perimeter and then use a rotary bit to gnaw through the narrow gaps. Once that was done I had the right size but with a torn edge to be safe. I was then able to use a sharp knife and cut the hole to make it relatively smooth. Minor defects become invisible after the switches are installed as they are covered by the front panel of the switch. Great product, I'm glad to see they are still being made for the JK passenger side. My jeep is a right hand drive post version so I need these switches where I can reach them!
