Review on 💡 GoWISE Power PS1006 High-Efficiency Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter, Updated Model, 1 Pack - Ideal for Hardwire Terminal Applications by Chris Hodges

So I just hooked it up for a day. Many reviews have said that this inverter will fail within a week or two. I will update if so. For me it's great. This inverter didn't even sweat (fans didn't turn on) with 1800W load for 3 minutes. It's really overkill for a 12 volt system but it's nice to know I can as my RV has a microwave which I never run for more than 3 minutes. Then I switched on the induction cooker for about 3 hours at 600 watts. This inverter was also not long in coming. If you do your wiring correctly, you should expect similar results. I replaced all my mileage with 2AWG wires, NOT the included crappy 4AWG wires. So YMMV, but so far so good. NOW THE BAD - unfortunately I see 1.9a pulling on this inverter with or without load. It sucks because I'm limited to a few small batteries which means I'm drawing 48Ah every day if I let it all the time - LAME! I have 200ah batteries and 400w solar panels but you would still think they could do better with ZERO load and I think they can. So this isn't a very efficient inverter in my opinion, and that no-load idle drawing 2 amps is kind of a hit. I will use it for a while but as soon as I find a more efficient inverter this POS will go away. It handles anything I throw at it, but what the heck does it take to draw 2 amps when nothing else works. Pretty crappy design, so come on guys!
