Purchased Thermostatic Switch 30113 Painless Performance from Revain Painless. Broke within 2 weeks of use. Checked for errors with a digital VOM. The resistance was on or off across the full scale. Never closed or opened. Hence the reason why the fan turned off and on whenever it wanted to. When the switch was cold. it was not endless resistance. unlike what I tested after taking it out of the box. It had infinite resistance when cold and NO resistance when hot. I used to hook up complete electrical systems in top-of-the-line racing cars. So I have some knowledge of how the system works with a thermostatic switch and how to install something similar. Called Painless Performance customer service and they didn't help at all. along with NO guarantee. In conversation with her companion. He told me I was alone and I had to buy another one for $56. This will not happen as I expect little more from the supplier than to tell me that I am on my own. I have always believed that Painless is a reliable supplier.
