I bought a 2014 Subaru BRZ with non-original rims. The TPS sensors have not been programmed into the machine. The guys at 2 Hibdons Tire Centers couldn't figure out how to program it and the dealership asked for $300. Some solutions require the purchase of two different hardware components: 1 to activate and/or read sensor codes and 1 to program the TPS sensor via the ODB II connector. This tool does both. It's pretty simple: select your vehicle's make and model and place the top of the tool next to the appropriate valve stem. When the instrument has all the codes in its memory, connect it to the ODB II port, erase the old codes and load the new codes. Start the car and drive down the street a little and you're back in business. Great tool, decent instructions 5 stars.
