Review on PAC RP5 GM31 Replacement Interface 2007 2012 by Darion Wooten

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works great, easy install, great customer service.

Installed on a 2010 Chevy Traverse. That works great. The guide is a bit complicated for manual programming steering wheel controls. I've found that if you're installing an Android head unit, you need an extra adapter. PAC's customer service was great and I was told I need a PN: SWI-ADAPT. Wich is brand new and I was only able to find it on Crutchfield for $20 after delivery. Hopefully Revain will bring this to you soon. I will tell you that there is a lot going on with this data connection. The manufacturers don't leave much space behind the head unit. So with zip ties and wraps hold off until you know how to route some wire harnesses for your car and if you can solder and shrink the connections it will help keep the bulk down.

Pros
  • Retains factory Bluetooth (2009 and later models). Rear Cable Exit
