Our 4 month old labrador pup weighs less than 50 pounds and was able to pull the main track almost freely. It was installed according to the instructions and the two small clamps to hold the leash are not enough. The cord is still slipping and the protective coating on the wire has peeled off. If I tighten the clamps any further I feel like they will break. I've reinstalled the leash by wrapping the wire around the eye a few times to reduce stress on the two clips, but it still doesn't fit the dog's advertised size. If your dog doesn't pull and just paces back and forth along the leash, he'll be fine, but if he pulls perpendicular to the leash, he won't be able to keep up.
