PERFECT to have one to the rear and one not
We used them on a 2 day trip (one way so 4 days total) with 2.5 and 4.5 in the car. IDEAL when one faces backwards and one does not. Went like clockwork! We downloaded movies from a flash drive and played them with no problems. It was a bit frustrating having so many cables in the car, but that's to be expected. It also restarts movies without a power source if you need to turn off the device, which isn't ideal.
