Product: Leak Sensor (2pcs) I used the Insteon Hub Water Leak Sensor (Insteon Bridge # 2245-222): Insteon Bridge, works with Alexa, creates schedules and scenes, Bridges for Sonos, Alexa, Cortana and more, uses superior dual-mesh wireless technology for unmatched reliability - better than Wi-Fi, Zigbee and Z-Wave. The supplied battery is already installed. The leak sensor uses an AA size lithium cell. Insteon claims it will take 10 years. Installation was straightforward and connecting to the hub was easy. I set up the Insteon Android app to send email notifications for wet and dry alerts. Other reviewers mentioned that they added an alert to check "heartbeat" daily, but this alert was missing from my Insteon app. I can't give the leak sensor a perfect rating. This is because the device is NOT waterproof; The battery and circuitry will get wet if the ambient water level is above 1/4 inch. Therefore, in this case, plan to replace a sunken sensor.
