This product was purchased from the Peltier Thermal Cooling Test Lab for the purpose of transferring heat from one surface to another. Especially from the Peltier element to the aluminum cooler on the hot side. In laboratory tests, this product did not transfer heat from the hot side of the Peltier element to the aluminum heatsink. Instead of transferring heat, this product caused rapid heat build-up on the hot side of the Peltier device, resulting in catastrophic failure of the Peltier device. The aluminum heatsink on the hot side did not get hot during the test. This laboratory test has shown that the adhesive acts as an insulator rather than a heat conductor. I do not recommend this product to transfer heat from a Peltier element to a radiator. I haven't tested this product on a CPU and heatsink combo, but I'm not interested in ruining an expensive CPU like I did with a $20 Peltier device.
