First, ASRock's Realtek audio drivers do not allow you to select outputs when you have multiple output devices connected. So if I have speakers plugged into my computer AND headphones in the front, I can't just click on the windows speaker icon and choose which of the two I want to play audio from. I could use my old Gigabyte board. It's not even a new problem. ASRock just doesn't want to fix it. That's a big minus. Second, the first PCI slot on the board is a 16x slot, meaning the back of your graphics card is closer to the CPU socket than other boards. That means you have a smaller selection of high-end heatsinks to install: you can't get a dual-fan D15, you can only install a single-fan D15S; You can't install Deepcool Assassin III unless you want the cooling fins to literally touch the back of your GPU. I had no problems with my old Gigabyte board.
