And if with efforts, then up to 5.4Ghz. I'm cooling a CBO Thermaltake Water 3.0 Ultimate processor on an ASUS x99-deluxe/u3.1 motherboard. Without overclocking, the system is completely silent, somewhere around 20 decibels. With overclocking to 4.8Ghz, noise was audible (35-45 decibels) with extreme overclocking to 5.4Ghz, noise up to 60 decibels. 4) I work in Unreal Engine 4.9, And for me, the CPU will always be the critical and weakest link in the system, even if it has 99 cores with a frequency of 33Ghz.
