This is a great replacement part that fixes a common problem with VW 1.8T engines. Be sure to purchase 2 additional O-rings that are not included. You will need one for the coolant tube and one for the coolant hose. It's also a good idea to order a plastic retaining clip as these are usually commercially available and can easily break.
