You helped me finally install Auxbeams!
Yes they fit the F-S2 models but I believe the confusion about their incompatibility is that you have to push the holder when inserting it into the lamp and also rotate it . This can take quite a bit of effort, but with patience and holding the bottom of the headlight bulb for protection so you don't bend it, you should be fine. And yes, it works with a 2008 Mazda3. You just can't use the black rubber sleeve, but you can use the clips for security.
