I took this pack of Stamos because I needed 2 and it was cheaper to buy this pack than these two individually. Since then I've used 6 different stamps and they work great. As with any other die, the most important thing to consider is the hardness of the material you are punching and the force you are applying to the die. The more complex the stamp pattern, the more difficult it becomes to get a clear image. Since I'm punching thicker coins or other thicker pieces of metal, I use a standard 16oz carpenter's hammer and get great results. For thinner or softer metals I would recommend a lighter punch hammer as the force of the punch bent the coin significantly when I tested the designs on pennies. Overall this set offers a great variety of stamps and seems to hold up well to my bullying. I'm considering getting another set to have more options! ***A NOTICE.
