Review on Mineral Cutting Butcher Stainless Approved by Brian Foster

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This stuff is perfect. You don't have to spend any money for this.

This material is perfect. No need to spend money on the condition of a small cutting board bottle. Your best bet is to buy a gallon of this and a set of 12-ounce bottles. Almost all of your wood terms are mineral oil. It is a clear, odorless oil that is excellent for cutting boards. I have a 36 inch Catskill cutting board, I oiled the entire surface and left it overnight. The next day I wiped off the excess with a paper towel. The cutting board will be slightly darker in color as the oil penetrates deep into the grain and is 'hydrated'. However, there are no oil stains on the circuit board. If you have wooden/bamboo cutting boards or kitchen utensils, better buy them a gallon than $10 for 8 ounces. Also, if you look for mineral oil, you'll find that it has dozens of uses. It is the main ingredient in baby oil and can be used to lubricate small mechanisms, protect knives from rust, be used with a whetstone to sharpen blades, and to clean stainless steel. For the price I would recommend buying a couple of litres. .
