It's cheap and it does the job.

I made a DCC++ base station out of this for my model railway. It seems to be working fine and I can now use jmri and withrottle to control my trains. Edit: still works after a year.

Pros

Max current 2A per channel or 4A max (with external power supply)

Cons

Questionable purchase for older people
