Review on 🌧️ Ethernet 2000MHz Weatherproof Network Resistant by Matt Watson

I've now bought some cables from Jadaol - 2,100ft Cat6 and they gave me a 10ft Cat8 to test. I tested Cat8 connected to my Macbook and NAS and got the same speeds when connected to Cat6 (as expected due to hardware limitations). The limitations for 99.9% of users (including me) are their hardware/modem/router/internet/use case, as there is no way the capabilities that Cat8 (25+ Gb/s) was designed for at home, really use. . Cat8 Ethernet cable is currently used to switch communication between switches in data centers and server rooms. I will say that the shielding and durability of the Cat8 cable I received seems good and is noticeably thicker than their own Cat6 cable or other Cat 5e/6 brands I have used. As a result, bending the cable around corners and tight spaces is a bit more difficult than the "weaker" Cat6, although the Cat8 does hold its shape decently. CONCLUSION Cat8 is really useless for any home user as you can't take advantage of speeds of 25+ Gb/s (which are practically non-existent for home users) - Cat6 or even Cat5e is more than you'll probably need, apart from you are much more accessible. That being said, the Jadaol cables appear to be well made and I've used Cat6 cables with no issues.
