Fast delivery of measuring and marking tools

There's no doubt that this is the Starrett original. Sharp knurling, collet with fine thread and fine straight tip. In addition, it has a very good balance and weight, which should be a pleasure. I can also replace the tip with the harder carbon steel tip used on the Bx. I've read complaints that the point falls out. I have found that it takes a lot of force to fully tighten. I assume this is done to prevent oscillation between point and handle. I'm always happy to have a good tool.
