The thing is unbeatable for price and performance.

In the last 30 years I've built about 80-100 computers. I have used dozens of different air coolers around the camp. With the exception of some high performance Zalman in Oc'd computers, I have to rate this as an exceptional value for money air cooler. I mean, I've run $60-$80 air coolers on pretty typical computers that were just fine, heavy, and noisy. I have not overclocked this cooler. But seriously, you wouldn't be looking for 9 euros here - but if you were in between - I would buy it again without reservations. If you want it even quieter, buy a step-down voltage adapter for a few dollars. I only bought this one because I bought an i9700k without a cooler and a Corsair H100i Pro heatsink cooler. Corsair didn't install properly until I was ready to return it. I bought a Thermaltake cooler as an interim option to start the computer, boot it up, and then troubleshoot the Corsair. I think it only took me a few minutes from unzipping to downloading. I was nervous and watched the temperature in the bios, it was below 30 degrees Celsius. I had the case open right in front of my face and it was a little louder (but not bad) than my silent fans, so I installed a 7V buck adapter to keep the noise down while I worked on the software. Temperatures never increased even with reduced fan speed and now the cooler is really quiet. I can't express how impressed I am with a cooler that is so cheap, high quality and really quite quiet. For me this was an intermediate until I started my Corsair water system (I did and it's amazing but still). I will never buy an Intel cooler again. Not long ago I built an i3 HTPC and decided the stock would do. Well I'm pulling out the stock cooler and replacing it with this one because I KNOW it will perform better at the same noise level.
