Review on πŸ’œ Renewed Samsung Galaxy Note 8, 64GB in Orchid Gray for AT&T Customers by Dorota Muzyka ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I expected mediocre quality, but the product was pleasantly surprised.

Despite the fact that the phone has a great level of build quality, it is not at all worth the price that is being requested for it. There is nothing in it that is worth the official price of seventy thousand dollars, even if there is money for the phone that amounts to seventy thousand dollars. The closest competitors are the OnePlus 5T 64GB, which costs $29 590, and the Honor 8 Pro, which costs $29 990. Both of these phones are priced at the same level, which is a miracle lower; however, I am willing to pay an additional five, or ten thousand dollars for this miracle, but I am not willing to pay an additional forty thousand dollars for the brand. The unofficial price for gray smartphones lowers by 46,000, which brings it closer to the reality of the situation, but it is still too expensive to be justified. And finally... The camera on this device is currently the most advanced and hence the most compelling selling point of the product. Screen: The screen is too bluish in all color rendering modes other than adaptive, which is a step in the wrong direction compared to the screen of the Galaxy Note 4. The viewing angles of the screen are extremely limited, and there are very few in which it does not tint the image with a mild pinkish hue. This effect can be mitigated by using cooler tones and incomplete illumination, but it will not go away entirely. The sound comes from a single mono speaker; thankfully, there is no hissing, but you shouldn't expect it to produce high-quality sound. The headset doesn't have any complaints, and everything can be adjusted as desired. Samsung Pay is a service that functions promptly and precisely. The fingerprint scanner does not always read the print correctly on the first try, but it works swiftly, which more than makes up for the discomfort of its occasional failure. The battery, although not being the most capacious, is sufficient for me for a full day, from eight in the morning until ten at night. Because of how easily it may be dropped, I would not suggest using the phone without a protective bumper with a softer touch. In conclusion, there would be a good branded item available for the official price of 40,000, and there is simply nothing else that Samsung could offer in this regard.

Pros
  • - A high-quality camera with post-processing settings that are correctly specified - Optical zoom of two times and image stabilization
Cons
  • - Official pricing is nil right now - Bixby is now worthless
