Due to the difficulty of replacing the alternator on my Ford.
Due to the difficulty of replacing the alternator in my Ford Escape I had to twist the unit several times which caused the wires to the connector to come loose so replacing the connector on this unit was necessary. Try disconnecting the wiring before unbolting the alternator if possible.
