I have mixed feelings about Shars; Some things are overpriced and not very good, but there are things that are unexpectedly good. This pavilion is definitely the last one; The first thing that struck me was that the act of inspection was coming. Mostly out of curiosity, I measured to make sure the report really applied to this pavilion. It was, and all the critical dimensions were pretty much in line with the specs. It matches my end mills so well that I actually have to clean and sand the mounting surfaces and take great care to keep the pilot straight when inserting it into the end mill. I didn't bother measuring the runout because I get a nice smooth finish, which wouldn't be possible if the tool wasn't held properly. It even came with a hex wrench to tighten the nut.
