Update: If your car is in a garage you should be fine. My car faces north so the back of my car gets the most sun. The rear seat upholstery is still RED. The backrests of my front seats are red. However. The seats (particularly under our knees) of my front covers are beginning to fade and take on a "pink" appearance. ****************************** ********** Fun for the grandkids, protects your seats from that grandchildren! The front seat covers were very easy to install. The rear seat back was also easy to assemble. When it came to the rear seat cover, I encountered a problem. I'm used to a back seat with a release mechanism, which is handy for finding lost coins, hair clips and ties, chips and skittles. The rear seat of the 2019 Jeep Cherokee is not easy to remove. I went to my dealer to see if they could help. I had to make an appointment for the mechanic to do this job for me. For me it was worth it because I LOVE seat covers and it helped that I "know the guy" and got a discount. The seat can be raised if you want a more secure seat.
