Mount the hook on the designated slide. Then gently twist the mesh so that it comes loose. When you find the two end pieces as you turn, you can start separating the weave from itself. Do not stretch the mesh, it will tangle and bind. The canvas is made of chenille and flickering lights. Not sure if it will withstand heavy rain or wind. Looks good on a perfectly clear autumn night. Hope they hold up!
