I was amazed at the other reviews that said the protective case had come off. With that in mind I ordered the worst and was pleasantly rewarded. I set up guards on two rails and made sure the receiving area was fully prepared like I was about to undergo open heart surgery. I used paint thinner as I didn't have naphtha on hand (thinner was provided in the kit). After a few weeks of active use, they're stuck and don't move at all. I don't leave my fences in a hot truck or in harsh environments. They are in a relatively cool store, stored upright on a nail and I am in the west with low humidity. I really like the clear color compared to the OEM black. Festool TS55 with new protective covers. I hope this helps you in choosing a replacement.
