I bought a single switch plate as we used it as a double plate for the finishing touches on my garage renovation. I just love the character they add to a boring wall accessory. The diamond-shaped tread pattern adds a bit of that industrial, masculine vibe I've been looking for. I also like how it looks with the Wall Control brand galvanized steel perforated plate, Elfa System silver components and other metal tools and garage storage accessories. Note: I expected it to be more durable than it actually is. The material is a little flimsy so I wouldn't want to pay much more for it than I paid (about $3 each) but it's probably better quality than the standard white plastic wall panels. I suppose it really doesn't matter since they lay flat against the wall and don't have too many opportunities to bend or get damaged afterwards. However, I would have preferred (and paid more for) good old American steel fabrication. If matching duplex jacks ever drop at a reasonable price, I plan on buying a few of these. PS I also think they would look great in a boys room, workshop or industrial style room.
