This is a completely new style of shoe for me - an interesting, lightweight, athletic, semi-formal style of shoe. It took me a pair of socks to get used to they don't use a traditional tongue flap but an ankle high stretch sock = wrap style around the leg collar that rises near the ankle bone. It takes some time to get used to the change in sensation, but it's not uncomfortable. Comfortable, but if you have a narrow heel, that upper fabric collar, instead of the traditional tongue lock, can cause the shoe to slip a bit on the heel when wearing thin material socks.
