You cannot use them in the water.

Super easy. I bought these because my son likes to play with whales and sharks at the local children's museum and they say they can be used in the water. You can not. All of the animals had holes in the bottom and when I tried to seal one of them the water just flowed out of the folds where the fins were. Unfortunately we will send them back. Plus they're playable, just not in the water (that's the only reason we bought them).
