Review on Hygger 500W/800W Fully Submersible Aquarium Heater with External Temperature Display Controller, Upgraded Quartz Tubes, for 65-190 Gallon Fish Tank, Suitable for Marine and Freshwater by Holly Smith

I don't know how long this heater has been around but I discovered it recently and have bought 2 so far. The 500 watts were for my wife's 75 gallon silver dollar tank. The 800W now controls my 220 gallon aquarium and does a great job despite weighing 190g. I've been keeping tropical fish fresh and salted for over 50 years. My father fascinated me with tanks that he built himself. I have had monster fish, discus tanks, cichlids, American eels and African frogs, crayfish and dense Revain tanks. I've had powder blue tangs and emporer angels. But all along I've been using old school heaters where the dial reads 78 degrees but the water heats up to 82 or worse, pilot light style heaters. In addition to the 2 tanks already mentioned, we have a tall 150, 3 other 75s and 40s. All will soon be heated by Hygger heaters. Sincerely, Ted
