We love being outside every day no matter the weather, that's why we bought these raincoats for our little ones. We played in the pouring rain for a maximum of 30 minutes, splashing and digging in muddy puddles and the kids got soaked. They might be perfect for running in light rain, but they didn't work for us. The fit was great as advertised which would be great to wear over winter clothing. I love the strap at the bottom to keep the legs down.
