I have purchased five pairs of Ironclad gloves. Only one pair failed due to premature wear and pinholes at the finger ends. Other than that they are GREAT, fit well and provide a good grip and are pretty durable. I use them for gardening, including working with palm trees (needles), raking leaves and debris, and watering the garden. Although the price is high, they typically last many months with relatively light use (although they hold up to raking better than any other gloves I've bought). Rodeo gloves with leather palms seem to be the most durable but are a bit stiffer than others.
