A friend told us about this shelf and we bought it and we love it. The skewers broke and we only used wooden kebab skewers for a whole year (new every time, a giant pack in the supermarket is very cheap). In the end, the stand warped, either from the dishwasher or the microwave, or both, and we replaced it. So now we have a second bacon oven and we love it so far! We calculated the microwave cooking time to be 1 minute for each slice of bacon plus an additional minute. This gives us the super crispy bacon we prefer. Every day we pour fat into a coffee cup and a few days later we scoop solid fat into a trash can to make room for more. Much better than pouring it down the drain! A highly recommended product!
