The gate itself is sturdy, except the hedges are plastic, and not metal. Assembly took hours, with well over 50 pieces. The real problem, and one that I consider unforgivable, is that it came without anchorage for the two posts that hold it up. The picture, and the instructions, say that the posts can be buried and cemented, or they can be can be fixed on top of cement footers. However, no anchor was provided to affix the poles to the footers, although the original product photo shows them included. Now, I have to make the rounds to various stores to see it such can be purchased.
