Review on ASUS ProArt Display PA248QV: WUXGA 24.1" | 1920X1200 | 75Hz | Height, Swivel, Tilt Adjustments by Ben Cash

Solid monitor for photo and video

I bought this 24" monitor because my old used tech just wasn't good for video and photo editing. It had pretty terrible colors, contrast, range, etc. This monitor is a massive improvement. When I tried it myself calibrate, I pretty much decided to go with the factory settings. I compared it to my laptop's sRGB OLED screen and they were almost identical (the laptop has a glossy finish versus a matte finish on this Asus.) I know that have had other issues with these mismatched monitors so maybe not perfect but works well for me.For the part time creative or less affluent working professional this seems like a fantastic choice.A professional with money and motivation to spend might look elsewhere I've used it for TV streaming and really enjoyed watching shows and movies on screen with color calibrated and wide dynamic range. I also used it for FIFA 2020 and I think it works fine. Serious FPS gamers might notice slow response times or motion blur, but still I didn't notice it while searching. I also appreciate having a speaker in the monitor. Trivial feature and by no means great quality. But useful when providing background audio. I got about 10% off the retail price and I think it was a great deal! Maybe think twice before paying full price because who does?
