These ice packs work well. My sister used them postop knee replacement surgery
My sister was sent home with a cube device with circulating ice water( which is fine if you are in hospital or rehab facility where someone can keep stocked with ice). At home she found these packs were superior to the ice cube circulator because she could disengage without assistance to go to the bathroom. It allowed for more independence and refrozen quickly after uding
