The weights really work and are easy to use.

One of the weights held my bag of 9 golf ball sized purple potatoes under water for an hour of sous vide cooking. Clean up was a breeze and the weight pulled off easily. I used to have a problem with unevenly cooked potatoes because the end of the ziplock bag would float to the top. Potatoes give off gas when cooked. Now I was pleased to find that the bag remained completely submerged in water. The weight is easy to use, efficient and easy to clean. I love this simple and effective way of holding a sous vide bag in place and submerging it completely in water.
