Review on 🔧 K&N Engine Air Filter: High Performance, Premium, Washable, Replacement Filter for 2015-2019 Hyundai/Kia L4 (Sonata, Sonata Hybrid, Optima, Optima Hybrid, Cadenza, K5, K7) - 33-5026 by Chad Black

So first let me say this isn't the first K&N air filter I've bought. I really like their air filters. You can feel the quality just by holding it in your hands. And specifically this air filter (for 2017 Hyundai Sonata with 2.4) came with an adapter cup and grease to ensure a perfect seal. The tray itself was even a quality piece. The only reason I give 4/5 stars is that there are small plastic shavings stuck in the silver wire mesh. I'm grateful I checked out the filter because these little bits of plastic were on the intake side which meant they were very easy to suck into the engine. I had to use a small tool to remove them without damaging the wire mesh they were stuck in. I don't know if there is any quality control, but if there is, it was definitely ignored. In short, check before installing!
