I was looking for real silk pillowcases that would help my hair, skin and especially my eyelash extensions. I sleep on my side and with cotton pillowcases I have found that the outer corners of my lashes fall out faster on the side I prefer. Since purchasing these pillowcases, I have had fewer lashes on the outer corners, no breakouts or super oily skin in the mornings, and my curls aren't frizzy. Highly recommended! I wash them in cold water every other day when I'm in the shower before I get out of the shower, hang them on the shower rail to dry, and when I get home from work they're dry and ready to use. my pillowcase. DO NOT USE REGULAR DETERGENT. I've found that when I use my Love Beauty & Planet Rose Shower Gel it's mild enough to get the job done and smells amazing. Also, don't wring it out, do your best to spread the cleaner around as gently as possible, and rinse it out very well. To add more smoothness, simply apply a little conditioner (again, I use Love Beauty & Planet) and then rinse well again. Roll loosely on a towel to shed some moisture before hanging to dry. None of my pillowcases are ripped or torn from multiple washes, so I know I'm doing something right.
