Factories; But it's not a new HDMI standard

When connecting my 144Hz monitor to this adapter, the advertised maximum refresh rate was 120Hz, which is causing artifacts on my display. Newer versions of HDMI are more than capable of handling 1080P at 144Hz, but this adapter just can't do it. This is not a limitation of the USB-C port; I plugged in a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter and the monitor ran at 144Hz. Unfortunately, this adapter does not wake up from sleep/monitor off.
