Review on Lamin X Bicycle Frame Guard Matte by Bart Elbrink

After weeks of searching the internet for frame protection tape I finally settled on one based on the much lower price and good reviews. 10/10 recommend buying this over other options if you're just trying to make individual parts of a bike frame. If you're trying to build the whole bike I can suggest another option or buy more than one of these since you only get 60 inches. I applied this to my Carbon Transition Scout and was able to run the entire down tube, top tube and both. chainstays and both seatstays. It took me about 2 hours to complete without rushing and each section got easier than the last as you started to learn the tape overlay technique. The 4" wide tape was perfect for the top and down tubes. a tube. I then used an angle iron to cut the tape into 2" strips for the seatstays and chainstays. I just finished installing but the product looks great..For $20 you can't beat this clear easy to install frame protector.I am very happy with this Lamin-X product.
