I have tried these chair covers on several styles of dining chairs (only one style shown). They go well with both. These are tight sleeves, and at first glance you don't see that they are sleeves. But if you look closely at the seam of the chair, where the seat meets the back of the chair, you can see that there is no seam. But it really doesn't matter. The material is dense and soft, like a dry tea towel. I bought a set of different colors to change depending on the season, my mood or when I need to wash them. They cover faux leather chairs I bought at a flea market. Now they look like new. If the previous owner had thought of covers he would not have sold these chairs!
