First of all I would like to say that I was skeptical about this brush. I mean it looks like a regular brush. Worse, it's like one of those cheap combs where the bristle tips grab and pull at your hair as you brush. Man I hate these brushes. However, combing my daughter's hair is a nightmare. She has long, thin, fine hair that tangles easily, and her detangling brush now has curved bristles. I've heard about Wet Brush all the time and have known moms who swear by it so I was blown away when I saw it. I mean see above. When I received it, I still thought it was nothing special, but I decided to give it a try. The next time my daughter came down the stairs with her hair messy, I pulled out a new comb and started brushing. I winced at hearing that tearing, confused sound, but my daughter didn't. I brushed a few more times, no sound from her - most of the time she's already saying "oh" and whimpering. So I stopped and asked her if it hurt and she said no. Not at all? Not at all. The sound I heard wasn't her hair, it was bristles bending and breaking. And that I was worried about the stubble grabbing her hair? Turns out the bristles aren't attached to the pillow, they stick through so nothing can get caught on the bottom. In short: I was wrong. Great brush, now I have one.
