I bought one for each side and found my inner door is now leaking water due to the plastic poorly fitting the door. I ended up using a silicone compound to ensure that (hopefully) no water got in. This is for a 2004 Ford Focus (now 17 years old). With car prices so high these days, this car should last a lot longer, which is why I replace broken/worn out equipment rather than buying a new car. With that in mind, these mirrors are well priced, but will they last? I doubt. I won't be buying it again, but having taken steps to prevent water ingress I might be surprised. I recommend considering OEM hardware (as I should have done now after installing it) if you can get it.
