I bought memory for an old Pentium 4 Socket 478 board that I was given for free. But shortly after the memory came, a young woman who was renovating where I live brought me an old tower that her boss wanted to throw away. When I plugged it in, it beeped because of a memory problem. It had 2 256MB modules which were bad. I installed 2 Komputerbay memory modules and everything worked great. It stood for a long time because it upgraded over 200 XP while I had it. So a computer that was junk for someone is now used by someone who couldn't otherwise afford a computer. I love a good reminder at reasonable prices. And I like reviving old computers. And just for the record, the computer where I plugged the memory into the really desired PC2700 memory. But the PC3200 worked fine at 200MHz.
