We live by a lake and have a pontoon. Carrying gas canisters to the pier and then lifting them up and dumping them on the boat seems to be getting harder and harder. Hence the fuel pump. Transfer the jar by hand or onto a cart and leave it in the cart. Pump from the can to the boat. No mess. You need a plastic hose.
