Super light, nothing to carry other than water

I've had a marathoner backpack before and it was AMAZING. Unfortunately it has been discontinued. After much research I decided to do it. This is a normal backpack, but it is very different from the marathoner. The best way to do that is with this pack, it's like a tank shell and little more. I've been using it for about a month now, here are my thoughts. I can drink it while it's still sealed, I don't have to open and reseal it. Enough space to store a few gels, suitable for medium distance runs (8-12 miles). Cons: Not a lot of storage, phone pocket is a joke unless you're rocking a 1999 Nokia. No modern phone will fit in a zipped pocket (but my iPhone XS Max fits perfectly in one of the other pockets. Sits very high on the back - it's fine, but personally I'd prefer something that sits a little lower. If so, a large one Person it looks comically small Not many adjustments - if you drink water the sloshing gets worse, there is no way to screw in the tank (like the marathoner) Also the chest straps tend to come loose very easily which is very comfortable for women through the high seat and chest strap bumps can make women uncomfortable Your mileage may vary as everyone's body is different Not a large capacity - this isn't for marathon training but should be enough for a 10-12 mile run (although everyone's water absorption is different is) Overall it's a decent package, I'll keep it to myself, but I wish I'd taken something lower on my back ken sits, as usual But the small improvements Camelbak has made to the tank itself are very good, only the packaging could use some improvement.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not bad
