I own quite a few cars & am pissed @ car makers not including spare tires. More then 2/3 of new cars do not come with a spare. Very often a simple thing like a flat tire can leave you stranded on the side of the road. Usually at night in the rain. Where available Iβve bought spares for my cars. In addition I have tire plugging kits in my cars. But plugging tire is useless if you have no way of refilling the tire with air. I also race cars & between on track sessions Iβm either inflating/deflating tires. Iβm always on the hunt for compact portable tire inflators. This works surprisingly well. I tested it by checking PSI in my tires. the gauge was accurate compared to my gauge. I deflated 2 of my tires to 15psi. Thisunit had same reading as my gauge. Then set this compressor to 41psi. The compressor stopped @ 41psi. I checked with my gauge-confirmed 41psi. Each tire took around 8 minutes to inflate from 15psi to 41psi. The compressor is very quiet & stays in place not walking all over place. Only negative is the 12volt cord is too short. If my vehicle did not have a 12volt outlet in rear I would not have been able to inflate the rear tires. If you have a van or larger vehicle & no 12volt power outlet in rear Iβd suggest passing on this. No matter how good this compressor is but you canβt reach the tire-then itβs useless. Other then that, works as expected. Good compact compressor.
