Review on ๐Ÿข Transform Your Cabinets with Nuvo Cabinet Paint Quart (31 Fl Oz), Driftwood - One Pack by Brandon Peters

Great product but CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN finishes!

I just bought a house and was dying to replace the cabinets and red brick fireplace. I did a little research, came across Nuvo and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. I've added photos to show the HUGE difference one can of paint makes. That's great. I decided to "whiten" my chimney with driftwood paint and water. It took a few shifts. It was very easy to make and looks amazing! The closets were a pain to paint, but they're always there. The most important thing is to CLEAN your closets well. If you think they are clean. clean again. I thought I did a good job, but unfortunately not as good as I thought. There are a few spots where the paint is cracking because there were still greasy/dirty spots. It's not too flashy, and I decided to leave everything as is and make it a little "rustic" (i.e. lazy). No need to sand with this product which has been great. And I decided not to remove the doors, which was good too. I didn't prime and it only took 2 coats to get good coverage. I'm happy with the result. I chose not to use sealer (but thought about applying a coat of polyacrylic paint). So we will see how the cabinet color holds up over time. This product is also very important. The kit comes with 2 small paint cans but I bought 2 more just in case. I only used 1 1/2 cans for the fireplace and kitchen cabinets. I have enough left over to paint the cabinets in both of our bathrooms! All in all, this was a great purchase. It was easy to use. It turned out great. It made a huge difference in our new home.
