It doesn't connect via bluetooth as they say. I have an iPhone XR

I got it for my shop today and it won't let me connect via bluetooth as the description says. I've tried everything and I have an iPhone XR so it's not an old phone. I'm very disappointed with this and I also got another receipt printer and it can only be connected via Android phones so I'm screwed on both ends and the app is ridiculous it's not in English at all.
